On March 27th, 2019, representatives from seven universities and educational institutions in Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Innovative Education Alliance (IEA) at the Education Forum of Smart City & IoT Smart City. The representatives from Universitas Trisakti, Universitas Bandar Lampung, Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi, Soedirman University, Brawijaya University, STIKes Widya Cipta Husada Malang and Nahdlatul Ulama Cirebon are the original members of IEA. After the signing ceremony, representatives are all looking forward to have futher cooperation in the future.
The representatives visited Taiwan from March 26th to 27th with the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia. Besides signing the MOU, they also visit Smart Education industry and institutions such as INNOTRIO CO., LTD., GEOSAT Aerospace & Technology Inc., RAC Electric Vehicles Inc. and Taipei Medical University Center for Education in Medical Simulation (TMUCEMS). Moreover, they’ve signed a MOU with the New Taipei city government.
IEA is commited to coordinate with partners of Indonesian educational institutions to run STEAM workshops and promote smart education in schools, discuss the feasibility of cooperation with Taiwanese manufacturers, schools, and educational institutions all over the world.
