Session Description

FETC successfully launched RFID-based single-lane free flow ETC in 2012, the rapid increase in utilization rate allowed Taiwan government and FETC to migrate to distance-based and multi-lane free-flow (MLFF) ETC in 2013. Currently, more than 7 million car users traverse the 335 MLFF gantries generating more than 6 billion accumulated transactions. The Taiwan ETC system not only enables the implementation of Smart Transportation services but also allow Taiwan to enter a new age of digitalization and accelerate the realization of AIoT.

Professional Experience

Ms. Grace Hsiao is the Country Key Account Manager in FETC International and in charge of business development of overseas ETC, ITS and Smart City projects. She possesses rich ITS experiences and has been involved in critical projects including Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Kazakhstan.

JMs. Grace Hsiao graduated in Tamkang University with a Bachelor Degree in Transportation Management.
Ms. Grace Hsiao is fluent in Chinese, English and some Vietnamese.
